To be able to become part of the Film and TV industry you will need qualifications and skills just like any other job, but to become part of it all, the skills you need to have are critical, you need good lack of communication skills, teamwork and confidence and good under pressure these are the 4 most important skills to have with any media related job because in Film and Tv industry especially you will have to come across of using these skills eventually. The qualifications you will need to a particular job in the creative industry so that employes are able to see that you know the knowledge of that particular job and are aware of knowing what the job is all about.

LEVEL 2 GCSE's

This course is for a BTEC Key Stage 4 (GCSE's), it offers all types of media units. This is a good start if you what to develop more skills but your not sure what part of the media industry you would like to develop more in, so taking this course may help you decided what your interested in.

This course gains you 4 GCSES in Media, this would be the right course for you if you knew you wanted to have a job in the media industry and knew what you wanted to do.
This is what you would learn and do: You will normally work in a group of about 16 students, as well as individually. You will carry out practical work in our professional TV studio and on location, and emphasis is placed on your ability to work as a member of a team.
The course is usually timetabled over three days and is assessed through the units such as:
