The project was to relaunch Tallis TV, the form of the brief was in a manner form, this helped and allowed me to negotiate what had to be done and what i had to do.
The brief: Re-launch Tallis TV by making an episode with current content suitable for the target audience. Pitch your proposal to client for authorisation to commence production, ensuring your ideas fit with the ethos and branding of Tallis TV.
When researching and analysing previous episodes i come across questions that had to be answered such as 'How long does the episode have to be', 'What the deadline was', 'How many stories would have to be included' and 'What the target audience was'. I then was able to make a a full proposal meeting the specification of the brief and therefore can pitch it to the client.
Overall i thought the proposal went well, we gained some good feedback such as 'detailed research' 'thought about the whole series instead of just one episode.' We also created a SWOT analysis for all our stories that are involved instead of the whole episodes. With a agreement to make the show we were commissioned to start production.
When producing a Tallis TV i have learnt new skills, the biggest skill that i've learnt is keeping time management for myself and the team. Also i learnt to communicate easily within the members of my group and also to share jobs evenly, and also improve my knowledge with software final cut

Evaluation
When finishing our episode. i looked back on the progress of our time producing the show. We dealt with skills such as time management issues, meeting requirements and keeping to the brief. When finding out are time frame to produce it we made a time scale of tasks we had to do. We produced the paperwork and proposal and that left two weeks to film. We filmed within 3 - 4 days, individually editing our parts of the show, so in my case i edited the fashion show. With everyone doing individually tasks we completed it with 4 days to spare until the deadline. When finishing we realised that there were some continuity errors within the footage so we had to re film and we merged it all together on the deadline day. Overall i thought we did a good job of time management and giving ourselves roles to get it all done on time. This also comes down to the communication with each other it was informal and relaxing in a sense that everyone got involved and everyone got on, and if any of us was struggling it was easy to just ask someone. The was no pressure on us which made it more relaxing because we could trust other members of the team to do there part of the brief and show. The time scale was successful and everyone got there jobs done a day before day before the deadline. if i were to do the whole project again i would change a big thing like keeping continuity filming but overall i thought it was successful and organised. The feedback that we received majority of it was positive people commenting on the type of stories that we produced, the different range of thoughts from the new school segment that people made. The also commented on the length of the episode saying it was the right length for 5 segments not to short and not to long. However the most important part was that it fitted the brief and the format from previous Tallis TV episodes. However there was comments of improvements such as the transitions need improving for example Jacks Facts was said to be going to fast going back into the links and there was no time for a breather for the presenters and also for the audience to acknowledge of whats going on. Another comment of improvement was the fashion show segment there was straight cuts used instead of fades, it felt like it was jumping around and slowed down the pace. Another suggestion was the logo for the fashion show, it was 'Cut, Stitch and Mix' but in the picture it was 'Cut & Stitch.' Also room for improvement was the continuity of subtitles in the fashion show, it was clear however it was in a different font to the rest of the episode.
WORKING TO A BREIF
The proposal i sent to the professional to entitle feedback
I chose this particular brief because i believe that with this kind of brief there can be loads of ideas that could be said, and there is no right answer. Also with this particular brief it's different to the others in the sense that it applies to everyone as in this modern world everyone has some sort of digital technology. What drew me to it was the fact that there are so many apps that i think i can achieve on making one that will apply and be suitable for everyone and that is different to other apps. With this brief i wanted to try something new and maybe accomplish something that i've never attempted or even done before. Also it will help me boost my confidence, and help me not to be scared of being wrong and go with my ideas and not to be scared. This brief is related to one of the units in my Alevel Btec Media Level 3 course, which is working to a brief. This will help me create ideas and to be able to achieve a good grade at the end.
I've got a idea to be able to work to the brief, its an app that will help the environment in someway but it will help public transport and the public. This idea come from the idea of the fact that the public moan about public transport, there is always some sort of problem that the public can moan at, from delays of transport to the price of tickets to long queues to buy tickets/or top up your oyster. So my idea is an invention that consists of the oyster card and topping that oyster card up. With this app you can do it from home or from were ever you are.
To be able to get it on your phone, you can download from the nokia app store. This method is the best way of downloading because its easier to get to, also easier to remember. Also with it placed on the nokia app store, costumers and consumers can also look at other apps that they might not of thought of, and are able to download so it gives others apps opportunities for downloads also. Also when its first launched, there will be events and tester stalls at phone shop and shopping centres.
